It is with great sadness that the family of Joseph Izzi Sr, 64 of Summerville, SC announces his passing away on Sunday, February 22, 2026.

Born on May 14, 1961 in Fondi, Italy, Joseph was a son of late Giuliana Izzi (Cannella) and Egidio Izzi.

Joseph was a jack-of-all trades from learning to work in a barber shop, becoming certified as a firearms instructor, to ending his career trying to obtain his CDL. He was an Engineer at heart and was passionate about learning and building any project he set his mind to. Joseph never hesitated to stop and deviate from his schedule when he saw someone in trouble or in need of help. No adventure was too long, for in his heart he loved to travel and celebrate the small things.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Yaqueline Combita Arero of Colombia, and his children: Natasha Izzi, Joseph Izzi Jr, Sabrina Izzi, and Luca Izzi (USAF) from his previous marriage with Anna (Palumbo) Izzi. He was the loving brother of Anna (Mike) Perretta of Cranston, RI; Rosella (Antonio) Migliaccio of East Greenwich, RI; and Rosalba (Michael) Chiaromonte of Hanahan, SC.
