Joyce Virginia Stanier

April 23, 1932 — September 28, 2021

Joyce Campbell Stainer, of Awendaw, South Carolina, passed away September 28, 2021 at Roper St. Francis - Mount Pleasant hospital.

Joyce was born in Macon Georgia on April 23, 1932. She was predeceased by her parents S.A. and Rosie Campbell.

Joyce (Nana) to her grandsons, Ethan and Hayden Macdonald, was a loving lady with a great heart. She was an amazing cook and brought out many smiles and happy stomachs during the holiday season; Rutabaga being one of the favorites.

Joyce was a fighter and came through hospice care two times; her doctors and nurses were amazed.

Joyce loved music and probably her favorite song, which would get her moving, was Proud Mary -
"Big wheel keep on turning
Proud Mary keep on burning
Rolling, rolling, rolling on the river"

She was survived by her sister Elaine Bride, brother Carl Campbell, sons Chet and Scott MacDonald.

A celebration of Joyce's life will be held at a later date
