The graveside service for Judy H. Watson (56) of Chapin will be held at 12:00pm at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Rd, Columbia, SC 29229, on Thursday August 14, 2025. The Reverend Jody Flowers will officiate. A memorial service will be conducted at 2pm at the Chapin Community Church, 415 Lexington Ave, Chapin, SC 29036 for Judy.

She was born on July 28, 1969, in Providence, Rhode Island and transitioned this earthly life on August 9, 2025. She was the daughter of Alburn E, Hutto and Amelia Mitzell Hutto. Judy formerly worked at Lexington District One Elementary School in the cafeteria. Judy was an avid Clemson Football fan as well as a Carolina Panthers fan. Judy also loved playing bingo and was an outgoing person.

Surviving is one son, Rodney A. Watson of the home: one brother, Johnny E. Hutto and his wife, Hereatha V. Hutto of Charleston. Also, two close friends Donna Wise of Lexington and Faye Haltiwanger of Little Mountain, as well as 5 aunts. She was preceded in death by her parents and late husband, Ronald Anthony Watson. The Family would like to thank Trina McKinney for her special care of only son, Rodney.
