Karen Kay (Lee) Creel, 67 of Goose Creek, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.

Born on October 18, 1958, in Panama City, FL, Karen was the daughter of Frances Yvonne (McKay) Lee and George Russell Lee.

Karen loved listening to music from the 1970’s, watching old westerns on TV, and drinking Diet Pepsi. She was a member of Goose Creek United Methodist Church.

Karen is preceded in death by her grandparents Veronica and Dalton McKay and Ruth and Buno Lee.

Karen is survived by son, Nicholas Creel; parents, George Russell Lee and Frances McKay Lee; two sisters, Dana Williams (Elliott) and Dona Lindsey (Rodney); her friend Kenny Bowers; and friend/caregiver, Cynthia Williams.

A Graveside Service is being held at 12:00pm on Tuesday August 11, 2026 at Whispering Pines Memorial Gardens, 3044 Old Hwy. 52, Moncks Corner, SC 29461.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Goose Creek United Methodist Church, 142 Red Bank Rd, Goose Creek, SC 29445.
