Karen Sabine Majors, 66, of Summerville, SC, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023.

Born on April 28, 1957 in Kirkwood, MO, she was a daughter of the late Phyllis Aamodt Sabine and John
Sabine.

Karen worked as a Certified Medical Coder and Trainer at the Medical University of South Carolina for over 30 years. Her biggest love was her family, especially her 4 Grandchildren: Olivia, Owen, Bennett and Samuel. After retiring from coding, she filled her time crafting and creating. She thoroughly enjoyed being able to
share those crafts with others.

Besides her parents, Karen is preceded in death by her brother, Richard Sabine (his wife, Dona, is still living.)

Karen is survived by her son, Frank Majors (Candice); grandchildren, Olivia, Owen, Bennett and Samuel; brothers, Bart Sabine (Beth) and Chris Sabine (Laura); and her many beloved nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at Epworth United Methodist Church, 1540 Camp Road, Charleston, SC 29412. There will be a gathering after the service to visit with the family and food will be provided.
