Kari L. Davids, 51 of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, peacefully passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2026.
Born on May 17, 1974, in Los Alamos, NM, Kari was the beautiful wife of Jeff Davids, the loving mother of Cooper Davids, and the beloved daughter of Jeannie Wynn and William (Bill) Goode.
While her time on earth seems short to those who love and will miss her, Kari filled her years with love, adventure, family and friends. She embraced every opportunity for joy and had a gift for turning even ordinary moments into something memorable and fun.
Kari was born in Los Alamos, New Mexico, to Bill and Jeannie, and later moved with her family to Oklahoma, where she graduated from Harrah High School before earning her accounting degree from Oklahoma State University. After college, she made her way to Colorado, where she met the love of her life, Jeff Davids. The two married and settled in South Carolina, building a life together along the coast. Their greatest joy arrived in 2012 with the birth of their son, Cooper, who became the light of her world. Kari loved the men in her life with her whole heart, and she filled their home with warmth, laughter and memories.
She cherished every adventure with her family, whether exploring Disney World, camping by the beach, traveling through Costa Rica, or singing along at Metallica concerts. As a talented athlete from a young age, she carried her passion for fitness throughout her life. She ran countless races, surfed with joy, and found freedom in both water skiing and snow skiing. Horses held a special place in her heart, and some of her happiest moments were spent at the barn, where she felt at peace and most herself.
Kari built a meaningful and respected career in finance, where her dedication, integrity, and unwavering work ethic were evident in every role she held. She cared deeply for the people she worked with, always leading with compassion and lifting up those around her. Colleagues remember her as the steady, generous presence who supported others without hesitation and made every team she touched stronger.
Kari faced her illness with remarkable courage from the moment her battle began in December 2024, and she passed peacefully on a bright, sun‑filled morning on March 8, 2026. Through every treatment, every journey, every hopeful turn and every difficult one, she held firmly to her faith. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered at holiday gatherings, birthday celebrations, anniversaries, and spirited OSU tailgates-places where her lively energy and caring nature were always felt.
Kari is survived by her husband Jeffrey Davids, a son Cooper Davids; her father William (Bill) Goode from Shawnee, OK; her mother Jeannie and Hugh Wynn from Choctaw, OK. She is also survived by her father-in-law Jim Davids, brother-in-law Michael Davids, niece and nephew Maddie Davids and Dylan Davids Nephew all from Mesa, AZ; her aunt and uncle Lori and John Flowers from Shawnee, OK; her uncle and aunt Jerry and Sherry Goode from Manhattan, KS; her aunt Pat Watts from Cookson, OK; along with many other treasured Family and Friends.
Kari is preceded in death by her mother-in law Donna Davids and a brother-in-law Stephen Davids.
