Kathy Jo Huffman

Kathy Jo Howard Huffman, 65, of Charleston, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2025.

Born on May 8, 1960, in Washington Court House, OH, Kathy was the daughter of the late Carolyn Dean Howard and the late Charles Howard.

Some of Kathy's favorite things were Facetiming her grandchildren, the Ohio State Buckeyes, music, her dogs, and family vacations to her favorite place in Myrtle Beach. 

In addition to her parents, Kathy is preceded in death by her brother, Keith Howard and her beloved grandparents, Albert and Myra Wallace Dean.

Kathy will be missed by her husband of 42 years, Marty Huffman; daughter, Lyndsy Huffman; son, Cory Huffman (Caitlin); grandchildren whom she adored: Reese Ellison Huffman and Kip Everett Huffman; sisters: Terri Howard Vincent and Toni Howard Alkire; brother-in-law, Allan Huffman (Kathy); nieces: Heather Wofford (Jeremy), Heidi Stewart (Tim) Meggan Alkire, Kalyn Elrich (Stephen), Mackensie Alkire (Elena); and special friends: Jessie Baldwin (Adam) and their children, Claire and Jedd; Kathy Clay; and Tonda Coulter. She is also survived by numerous cousins, great nieces and nephews, and beloved dogs: Abby, Misty, Chloe and Lily. 

A celebration of Kathy's life will be held at a later date.
