Kent Hollingsworth Davis, Sr.

Kent Hollingsworth Davis Sr., 82 of Goose Creek, South Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023.

Born on March 18, 1941, in Baltimore, MD Kent was the son of the late Catherine Hollingsworth Davis and William Davis.  Kent was very proud of his 20 plus years of service in the US Navy with multiple tours in Vietnam. He retired from the Navy and later retired from the city of Savanah, GA as an Information Technology Specialist. He was a lifetime member of the Fleet Reserve and loved modeling while having many model ships throughout his home. He was also a model train enthusiast and had many different train platforms throughout his life.

Kent is preceded in death by his parents.

Kent is survived by sons, William Davis, Kent Davis, Jr., Raymond Davis, and Thomas Davis.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at McAlister-Smith Funeral and Cremation - Goose Creek, 869 St. James Avenue, Goose Creek, SC 29445

The burial will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Fleet Reserve Association, Low Country at 99 Wisteria Rd, Goose Creek, SC 29445
