Kevin A Sorenson, 47 of Goose Creek, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2026.

Born on April 16, 1979 in Honolulu, Hawaii, he was the son of Kathleen Clapp Sorenson and the late Gary Sorenson.

He was loved by his students and deeply respected by the teachers and staff who worked alongside him. He had a deep appreciation for sports, especially Liverpool soccer and Chicago Cubs baseball, and enjoyed watching the games and following the excitement of each season. He also had a love for live music and concerts, finding joy in the energy of live performances and the stories behind the songs.

His interest in music history reflected a curiosity about the artists, influences, and moments that shaped the music he enjoyed. These hobbies brought him entertainment, inspiration, and countless moments to appreciate the things he loved.

Kevin is preceded in death by his father, Gary.
