Kyle Hicks

John Kyle Hicks, 22, of Goose Creek, passed away February 23, 2014. Born in Prince William, VA, he is the son of John and Diana Miller Hicks. Kyle graduated from Plainfield High School in Plainfield, IL. He enjoyed playing soccer, working out, listening to music, playing video games with his dad and brother, working with his family in the yard and family movie night in the loft. Kyle loved going to the beach, spending time with his family and his family outings to the gun range. He will be remembered for a having a huge heart, giving big hugs and the love he showed his family and friends. He is survived by his parents, John and Diana Hicks of Goose Creek; son, Kingston Rowan Hicks of Illinois; brother, Caton Hicks of Goose Creek; grandparents, Arnold Miller of Goose Creek, Shirley Earnhardt of Salisbury, NC and Carolyn Zimmerman of Dundalk, MD. Kyle also leaves behind his dogs, Oreo, Levi, Zoey and Hunny and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral Service will be held Friday, February 28, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, GOOSE CREEK CHAPEL, 869 St. James Avenue. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 27, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
