Lawrence "Larry" Carlton Meek

Lawrence "Larry" Carlton Meek, 54, of Columbia, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026. He was born on June 5, 1971, in Aurora, Colorado, to Floyd Arthur Meek, III, and Thongchan Meteno Donnafield.

Larry was an avid fisherman. He also enjoyed hosting barbeques and spending time with his family and friends. Larry was car enthusiast. His working years were spent in the auto parts business.  Larry was a NAPA manager for 13 years. He also worked for Abbott's for 15 years.

Larry is survived by his wife of 36 years, Angela Logan Meek; his parents; his children, Lawrence Zachariah Meek (Charity), Jessica Nicole Meek, and Robert Preston Meek; and his grandson, Tavarus Rian.  He is also survived by his siblings, Joseph Meek (Tracy), Keesa Donnafield, and Chris Donnafield.  Lawrence was preceded in death by his brother, James Anthony Meek.

A visitation will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home (200 State Street, West Columbia, SC  29169).
