Linda Marie Hardy

Linda Marie Enders Hardy passed away peacefully on September 18, 2026 in Lexington, SC.

Linda was born on July 29, 1952 in Lynwood, CA. As a young child she moved with her family to Ajo, AZ where she lived until she graduated from high school. During these years, she developed a love for the beauty of the desert. Her favorite memories include time spent with her family and grand parents each summer at their cabin on the beach in Cholla Bay, Mexico.

While attending college at Northern Arizona University, Linda met and married Curtis Lee Hardy. They had five children while living in Winslow, AZ; Jeffrey (Dee), Marianne (Patrick), Keith (Ilse), Craig (Lisa), and Deborah (Eric). She has ten grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.

In her early adult years, Linda joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, which impacted the rest of her life. She served in many church callings, loved researching family history, attending the temple, and studying her scriptures.

Linda received her college degree in education and taught in elementary schools for many years in Winslow, AZ and Gilbert, AZ. Upon retirement, she moved to South Carolina. She loved seeing her children and grandchildren, and especially loved family reunions. She also loved caramel M&M’s, simple foods and spending countless hours chatting with friends and family. She leaves a legacy of her love of Jesus Christ and of her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who truly knew her.

Memorial Services for Linda Hardy will be on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at 10 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2224 Augusta Hwy Lexington, SC.
