Lisa Ann Allis, 63, passed away on October 1, 2025, after a long illness, in Charleston, South Carolina.
Born on January 27, 1962 in Beacon, New York, Lisa was raised in New York and attended South Avenue and Beacon High Schools before continuing her education at Orange Community College. She dedicated over thirty years of her life to a career as a dental hygienist, serving her community with care and professionalism. Lisa was a devoted member of Saint Philip's Church in Charleston, South Carolina. The women that she became friends with for bridge and mahjong games, flower guild at St. Philip’s Church. Her faith was an important part of her life and provided strength throughout her journey.
She is survived by her loving husband, David W. Allis and her stepson David J Allis; her sisters Claudia Chiappardi of South Carolina, Gail Buccellato of New York, Frances Chiappardi of Virginia; and her brother Vincent Chiappardi of California. Lisa is also survived by her nieces and nephews Bruce Stevens (Lindsay), Jason Chiappardi (Heidi), Michael Chiappardi (Jennifer), Ashley Pieter (Jake), Nicholas Pomarico, Victoria Fenton, Robert Fenton, and Alexa Fenton.
Lisa was predeceased by her parents, Francis and Catherine Chiappardi of New York; and her sisters Janet Chiappardi, Cathy Pomerico, and Patricia Fenton, all of New York.
A funeral service will be held at St. Philips Church on Monday, October 20th, 2025 at 2pm, 142 Church Street, Charleston, SC, 29401, at the Academy building entrance on State Street.
In honor of Lisa’s memory, contributions may be made to St. Philips Church, 142 Church Street, Charleston, SC 29401.
