Lucille Pugh, 88, of Charleston, SC, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2024.

Born on July 22, 1935, in Albertsville, AL, she was the daughter of the late Azzie Wright Boyd and the late Richard Boyd.

Lucille was a devout Christian, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed the company of her friends and family, as well as Crimson Tide football and Elvis.

In addition to her parents, Lucille is preceded in death by her four siblings and her beloved dog, Harley.

Lucille is survived by her daughter, Teresa Hart (John); grandson, Stephen Ross; granddaughter, Stephanie Ross; nieces, nephews, cousins, and many others who she loved.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home West Ashley.

The graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at Live Oak Memorial Gardens in Charleston, South Carolina.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Heart Association.
