Lynn E. McCauley

Ms Lynn E McCauley, 70 of Goose Creek, South Carolina, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2023. 

Born on May 30, 1952 in West Orange, NJ, Lynn was a Daughter of the late Doris Gianoulis (Horn) and James Gianoulis. 

Lynn graduated nursing school, worked several years at Dover General Hospital in Dover, NJ, and worked at Shoprite for many years after that. She volunteered as a Unit Commissioner in Boy Scouts, and was given an award for Outstanding Service to Comunidad Unida in Milford, PA. Most importantly though, she loved people, and was a wonderful mother and wife. She always had time to do the little things that made people know they were loved and important.  

Lynn is preceded in death by James Gianoulis (Father), and Doris Gianoulis (Mother), and Sandra (sister). Lynn is survived by John McCauley Jr. (Husband), Matthew McCauley (Son), as well as many nieces, newphews, Godchildren and foster children. 

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 25th, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral & Cremation at 869 St James Ave Goose Creek, SC 29445 843-553-1511. 

The service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 510 Saint James Avenue in Goose Creek, South Carolina. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Felician Center, Kingstree, SC; Helping Hands, Goose Creek; Lowcountry Food Bank, or Lowcountry Pregnancy Center.
