Marie Elizabeth Malone

Marie Elizabeth Malone, 84, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2025.

Born on August 25, 1940, in Jamaica, New York, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Hochstedter Wagner and the late Herman Wagner.

Marie was a big fan of western movies and was an avid reader. She loved and took care of children for many years. Marie enjoyed traveling and her favorite place was Hawaii.

As well as her parents, Marie is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Malone and sister, Marlene Malinoski.

Marie is survived by her sister, Martha Gaska; and her nephews, Lee Gaska and Steven McIntyre.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, from 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM at McAlister-Smith Funeral & Cremation in Goose Creek.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 510 St. James Avenue in Goose Creek, SC.
