Marjorie Everton Schulz, 97, of Ladson, South Carolina, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2025.

Born on March 6, 1928 in Grants Pass, OR, she was a daughter of the late Myrtle Lampheare Everton and Eldon Everton.

Marge enjoyed traveling, and in her younger years she was especially adventurous. She once crossed the United States by train with a friend. She met her husband, Art, at a church in San Francisco. After they were married in Grants Pass, Oregon, they moved to Loves Park, Illinois, where they raised their three sons. In their free time, she and Art enjoyed bowling and golfing together.

In 1983, they moved to Inman, SC, where Marge quickly made friends and loved spending time on Lake Bowen. She was an avid gardener and spent countless hours working in her garden year-round after moving south. Later, after settling into Summerville Estates, she stayed busy with friends, playing games and doing crafts.

Marge is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Arthur Schulz, and her sister, Shirley Herd.

She is survived by her sons, Richard Schulz (Leslie), Dana Schulz (Cindy), and Mark Schulz (Wendy); her brother, Eldon "Bud" Everton; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
