Mark Steven Durkee

Mark Steven Durkee, 70 of Greenwood, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2026.

Born on September 23, 1955 in St. Albans, Vermont, he was a son of the late Eileen Thibault Durkee and the late Osborne Durkee.

Mark was most proud of his service in the United States Army. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending quality time with family and friends.

As well as being predeceased by his parents, Mark is preceded in death by his sister, Diana K. Morgan O'Hara and her husband, John O'Hara..

Mark is survived by his wife, Lynn Durkee; his brother, Osborne Durkee and his wife, Barbara; brother, James Durkee; son, Joshua Durkee and his wife, Jennifer and their girls, Brooke Durkee and Abigail Durkee.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans.
