Mark Evan Overstreet

Mark Evan Overstreet, 56, of Goose creek, South Carolina, passed away on the 12th of November.

Born on September 5, 1966 in Augusta, GA, he was a son of (the late) Patricia Overstreet (Arrington) and Henry E. Overstreet.

Mark was an incredibly loving Father and Husband. He graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He worked at Albany International in St. Stephens for 30 years where he was loved and respected by his employees for his dedication to them and their well-being. He enjoyed camping and tailgating with his family at Clemson football games. Mark was an extremely selfless person who always took care of the people around him.

Mark is preceded in death by his father, Henry Overstreet, his mother, Patricia Overstreet and his sister, Leslie Johnson.

Mark is survived by his loving wife, Monica Overstreet his sons, Blake Evan Overstreet and Justin Thomas Overstreet and his sister, Melinda Overstreet Colvin.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at the McAlister-Smith Funeral & Cremation Center in Goose Creek.  Services will follow in the Chapel of McAlister-Smith at 12:00 P.M. Rite of Committal and Interment will be at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, November 17, 2022 where Mark will be laid to rest at the Sunset Memorial Gardens, 2648 Jefferson Davis Highway, Graniteville, South Carolina, 29829
