Minnie "Love" Limehouse Moody, wife of the late Millard M. "Chut" Moody, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, November 6, 2025.
Love was born in North Charleston, SC, on March 13, 1932, to the late Robert A. and the late Minnie K. Limehouse. She graduated from Summerville High School and Rice Business College. She was employed by Salisbury Brick, and part-time at Prudential Insurance Company. She was a lifelong member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. Love was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be badly missed and forever in our hearts.
In addition to her husband, Love was predeceased by her brothers: Robert "Bobby" Limehouse, Jr., Thomas "T.C." Limehouse and Arthur "Gene" Limehouse.
Love is survived by her sisters, Joanne Lowder and Dinah Wright (Edmund); children: Dr. Christie Moody-Spangenberg (Thomas), Millard "Greg" Moody (Terenia), Stephen L. Moody (Debbie); daughter-in-law, JoAnn Moody; grandchildren: Krysten Waisanen (Bill), Millard "Greg" Moody, Jr. (Hailey), Stephen Moody, Jr. and Amanda M. Stokes (Garland); and great-grandchildren: Walker and Carson Moody, and Hudson Waisanen.
The family would like to thank her personal caregivers for their years of service and compassion.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Live Oak Memorial Gardens, 3093 Ashley River Road in Charleston, SC.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Love's memory to Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1157 Sam Rittenberg Boulevard, Charleston, SC 29407 or online at Westminster Presbyterian Church.
