Nancy Scott

February 11, 1930 — November 1, 2021

Nancy Dukes Lange Scott of Charleston died on November 1 after a brief illness. Nancy loved music and taught piano for 30 years

as a private tutor and as a teacher at O'Quinn School on James Island. She was a member of the Charleston Symphony Orchestra

League, an avid bridge player, and a lover of travel. A lifelong Methodist, she last attended John Wesley UMC. Nancy was a wife

to Walter Dukes, Keith Lange, and Kenneth Scott who all preceded her. She is survived by her two children Carol Dukes Buehler

(James) and Corbey Dukes (Janie), four grandchildren: Caroline, Jamison (Stephanie), Carlie (Chris), and Maggie, and one great-

grandson, Jude. She is survived and loved by a host of step-children and step-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at

Holy Cross Cemetery on Friday, November 5 at 1:30 PM.
