Norman Lynn Hamilton, 76 of Goose Creek, died on, October 1, 2014. He was born on October 23, 1937 in Warren, Ohio. He was the son of the late Frank Hamilton and the late Edith Cessna Hamilton. Norman served in the United States Navy and retired from General Motors in Warren, OH. His hobbies included bowling with a senior league, golfing, gardening, and was a member of multiple Amateur Ham Radio Associations. He was a lifelong tinkerer and antique car enthusiast. He had a great interest in modern technology and was very tech savvy. He was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State football. His family remembers him as a quiet man who was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia Hamilton and one brother, George Hamilton. Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Delilah Hamilton of Goose Creek; one daughter, Kimberly Hamilton of Powell, OH; one step-son, Troy Kuhns and his wife Jennifer of Summerville; four grand-children; two brothers, Charles Hamilton and his wife Petie of Florida and Charles Markley and his wife Betty of Warren, OH. A celebration of life will be held 7:00 pm Saturday, October 4, 2014 in the chapel of McAlister-Smith Funeral Home Goose Creek. The family will receive friends one hour prior from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
