He later became a member of Harbour Lake Baptist Church in 2006, where he continued to grow in his faith.

He married Sadie Dwight on May 14, 1983 and of their union were born two daughters; Kimberly Michelle and Sarah Elizabeth. He was also the stepfather to Eric, Lakecia, and Deadra. Very proud Grandfather of 8 beautiful grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Gregory was a loving and devoted family man. He also never met a stranger, if there was a need he could fill or fix he would.
