Paul Michael Saucier, 66, of McClellanville, SC, passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023.

Born on June 29, 1957, in Lewiston, ME.  He was a Son of the late Patricia Cupsie Hundzienski and Paul Saucier.

Paul graduated from Ringgold High School in Monongahela, PA.  He was listed in “Who’s Who Publication”  for outstanding academic high school students in the USA.  He graduated from Dickerson College in Carlisle, PA, where he played football.  After college, Paul became a real estate broker for over 30 years and published several Real Estate books.  Paul became certified in multiple areas of study by Clemson University, including Master Tree Farmer, Master Pond Manager, and Master Gardner.  Paul was a member of Ducks Unlimited, USCCA, and Tunnel To Towers.  He was also an avid fisherman, hunter, and gardener.

Paul was an exceptionally altruistic man.  He served as president of the charity, Senior Care Action Plans Network (SCAN), which focused on keeping seniors in their homes as long as possible. 

Paul loved to travel and to be outdoors.  He and his family traveled to Mexico, Paris, Vienna, Prague, Black Sea, Warm Water Port Batumi Seaside Resort and to the Turkey boarder.  He once walked the Marco Polo Silk Trail with his friends in Anaklia, GA.  He spent time in the Republic of Georgia teaching Georgian entrepreneurs how to set up small businesses with donations bring arranged from outside sources for supplies and equipment.  He became fluent in Georgian.

One of Paul’s most unique qualities was his understanding and love for animals.  He bought his family a book titled, “How To Speak Chicken.”  The hens would sit on his lap and they would chat!

Paul is preceded in death by his father, Paul Saucier; his mother, Patricia Hundzienski Saucier and his sister, Corinne Saucier.

Paul is survived by his wife, Catherine Saucier; sister, Renee Pote; brother, Scott Saucier; son, Joseph John Yates and grandson, Joseph Andrew Yates.
