Peter McGregor McInnes, 76, of Charleston, South Carolina, died on Sunday, July 12, 2026, after an extended illness. 

Born on August 17, 1949, in Charleston, SC, Peter was the son of the late Dorothy Cawthon McInnes and the late Benjamin Kater McInnes, Jr. 

Peter was retired as a contract sales consultant and estimator for several years in the tri-county area. He served in the U.S. Army National Guard of South Carolina, and as a reserve of the Army from 1971 - 1976.

Peter is survived by his wife of 54 years, Karen Chup McInnes and his brother, Benjamin McInnes of Charleston. 

All services will be private.
