Rebecca Edwards

Rebecca Marie Edwards , 32, of Charleston, SC entered into eternal rest on Friday, May 8, 2015. She was born on Monday, May 24, 1982 in Toccoa, GA to Marguerite Bearden and James Larry Bennett . Becca loved to sing, both in church with her family and in the car with whatever country song was on the radio. She liked to crochet and make scarves and blankets for her friends and family as well as other patients at the cancer center where she received treatment. She was a big movie fan and would often be able to quote movie lines after a single viewing. She was never without her trademark Superman belt buckle and cowboy hat. Becca was a caring and patient mother to Kimber and a strong and supportive wife and best friend to Jason. Her strength and courage in the face of adversity was an inspiration to everyone she met. She is survived by her loving husband of 10 years; Jason W. Edwards, of North Charleston, SC: one daughter; Kimber Edwards: her parents; Larry and Margie Bennett and two sisters; Jennifer Bennett and Marlaina Davis A Memorial Service will be held at New Covenant Church of God on Monday May 11th at 3:00.
