Richard C Stanton

Mr. Richard C. Stanton, 80, of James Island, SC, passed away, Friday, January 8, 2016. Mr. Stanton was born in Irvington, NJ and resided in Parsippany, NJ for 37 years. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, NASCAR fan and family man. He retired after 38 years as a drafting designer with Bell Telephone Laboratories, Whippany, NJ. His family will remember him as a good husband, father and grandfather. Mr. Stanton is survived by his wife, Carol, of 59 years. He is also survived by son Steven Stanton of Moncks Corner, SC; daughter, Kathleen Stanton of Parsippany, NJ; and son David Stanton of James Island, SC; a brother, John Stanton of Denville, NJ; five grandchildren, Heather Varney, Amanda Rec, Sean Stanton, Christina Stanton and Emily Stanton along with a number of nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
