Born on August 21, 1958 in Florence, SC, Ronnie was a son of Lemuel Alton Smith and Mary H. Smith.
Ronnie enjoyed telling tall tales with his friends and family. If he picked on you, that meant he loved you. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Ronnie is survived by his mother, Mary; his son Brian Salvo (Morgan) of St. Louis, Missouri, and grandchildren, Phoenix, Eva, and Wren. He is also survived by his sister, Marilyn Trevino; his brothers, Ricky Smith (Katie) and Robby (Barbara), and too many to count nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 3:00pm at James Island Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 1632 Fort Johnson Road, Charleston, SC 29412.
