Rosemarie E. Crombie, 82, of Charleston, SC, passed away on December 24, 2013. She was born on Sunday, December 6, 1931, in Milwaukee, WI, a daughter of the late Rose eickstedt Ellis and the late George Ellis. Rosemarie was a legal secretery with Fisher and Walker for over 35 years. She was a long-time member of Calvary Lutheran Church. She was an animal lover and enjoyed geneology work. Her family remembers her as a loving mother. Besides her parents, Rosemarie was preceded in death by one sister, Ruth Habeck. Survivors include one son: Kenneth M. Crombie (Jennifer) of Crownsville, MD; two daughters: Janet Clark (Steaven Harbin) of St. Petersburg, FL; and Sharon Smith of Charleston, SC; five grandchildren: Daniel Edwards of Charleston, SC; Matthew Edwards of Charleston, SC; Katherine Harbin of St. Petersburg, FL; Miles Crombie of Crownsville, MD; and will Crombie of Crownsville, MD; one great-granddaughter: Madison Edwards of Charleston, SC; and two nieces: Jeanne Seidler of Germantown and Kate Gmeiner of Colorado. A celebration of Rosemarie's life will be held on Monday, December 30, 2013, at 1:00pm, at Calvary Lutheran Church, 1400 Manor Boulevard, Charleston, SC 29407.
