Samantha Christine Ingraham

Samantha Christine Ingraham, 58, of Goose Creek, SC passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2024.

Born on April 20, 1966 in Hampton, VA, she was the daughter of Ira Neal and the late Louise Dion Neal.

Samantha loved to sing.  Her first gig was at her older sister's wedding.  After that, it was in her choir and along with every song that came on.  To keep her hands busy she would knit and crochet.  In her early years she loved to ride horses, specifically barrel racing.  Samantha loved to watch sports and loved her Washington Redskins. She loved to garden when she could. Samantha would find every abandoned animal she could and welcome them into her home.  She always bragged about the 7lb. bass she caught in Western Branch, VA.

Samantha was always unapologetically herself.  She spoke her mind honestly and unfiltered.  However, that did not stop her from going out of her way to help everyone she could.  Samantha also gave one heck of a charlie horse.  She was a devoted wife and a beloved mother.  Samantha loved to brag about her sons every chance she could until her grandchildren came along. She would spend every chance she could with her grandchildren.

Along with taking in every animal, Samantha was the neighborhood mom.  She ensured everyone's heart and belly were full of food and love. Everyone who came into her home was family and she treated them as such.  Samantha had a steel trap mind on birthdays, anniversaries, and any other date of significance.  She was a strong, dedicated, God-praising woman and will be missed.

Samantha is preceded in death by her mother and her sister, Juanita Neal.

Samantha is survived by her husband, Kenny Ingraham; her daughters, Myra Ingraham and Kaitlyn Woodard; her sons, James Woodard, Kenneth Ingraham, and Justin Ingraham; her father; her sister, Kimberlie Schumaker; and her brother, Ira Neal.
