Samuel Barto Spires, Jr.

Samuel B. Spires,  Jr. ”Barto” has gained his wings on September 5 2025, He was born in Gaston, South Carolina, one of 5 children of Samuel Barto Spires, Sr. and Mary Kleckley Spires. He was a beloved Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather and Friend to all. Surviving are his children Kenneth (Shanda) Spires and Jessica Spires, along with his sister Wilma (Anthoney) Holley. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Betty Koon, Father, Samuel Barto Spires, Sr., Mother, Mary Kleckley Spires, his three siblings, along with his two daughters Velvet Seal, and Brandi Spires. The celebration of life will be held on September 20th at Noon, at Edumund Community Center.
