Sharen Carter Jernigan, 63, of Summerville, entered into eternal rest on October 15, 2020, with her brother Anthony by her side.
Sharen was born on September 16, 1957 in Moorehead City, NC. Sharen was a daughter of late Edward Carter and Mary Jean Holmquist.
Sharen loved people and never met a stranger. She was loved by all. A sweet, kind, lovely lady.
Sharen is survived by two sons, Christopher T Jernigan and wife Lisa, and Thomas R. Jernigan both of North Charleston, SC, She is also survived by her brother, Anthony J. Holmquist of Summerville, SC. One granddaughter Phoebe Jernigan.
There will be a private family service held at the McAlister-Smith Funeral Chapel Goose Creek, SC at 7pm, Wednesday, October 21st, 2020.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Sharen`s memory may be sent to the American Cancer Society. This can be done on line at www.americancancersociety.org.
