Steven Ray Fite

Steven Ray Fite, 62, of Lexington, South Carolina, passed away at his home on Wednesday, March 4, 2026. Born on March 12, 1963, in Kings Mountain, North Carolina, he was the son of Raymond and Wilma Walker Fite.

Steven grew up in Chester, South Carolina and graduated from Lewisville High School where he played in the band. After high school, he spent many years as the owner/operator of several Grading and Asphalt Sealing Companies.

Steven enjoyed fishing, boating, racing and spending time with his children.

Steven is survived by his mother, Wilma Fite, his children, Braeden Fite and Emmelynn Fite, sisters, Linda Wilks and Kathy Garrison. He is also survived by his companion, Teri Judy and her son Dylan. Steven was preceded in death by his father Raymond Fite andsister Crystal Fite Dragone.

A memorial service for Steven is being planned. Details will be announced at a later date.
