Sue Melton Porter of Mount Pleasant entered eternal life at the age of 71, on January 27, 2022.
Sue was born on July 27, 1950, to Talvin and Eleanor Melton in Tampa, Florida. She graduated from Lower Richland Highschool in 1968.
Sue was a loving wife and mother and will be remembered as a compassionate, giving and comical person. Her laughter and smile will never be forgotten.
Sue is survived by her husband, James Porter; son, Richie Porter; brother, Dickie Melton; and granddaughter, Sarah Adeline Porter.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Sue on Sunday, February 6, 2022, from 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM, at McAlister-Smith Funeral and Cremation, 1520 Rifle Range Road, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464.
