Teresita Vasquez Garcia

Teresita Vasquez Garcia, 85, of Goose Creek, SC passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

Teresita was born on August 1, 1939, in Tabaco Albay, Philippines and was a daughter of the late Epifania Bula Barbante and the late Pedro Nasayao Vasquez.

Teresita is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Ramon Bernardo Garcia on September 8, 2024.

Teresita is survived by her son, Gerard Garcia; daughter-in-law, Stacy Garcia; grandsons, Jarron and Paxton Garcia; daughter, Lorraine Rodriguez; son-in-law, Raul Rodriguez; grandson, Raulson Rodriguez; and granddaughter, Caroline Rodriguez.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday July 1, 2025, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral & Cremation - Goose Creek, 869 St. James Avenue in Goose Creek, SC. A Rosary Service will also be held during that time.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 510 St. James Avenue, Goose Creek, SC 29445. Burial will follow at Plantation Memorial Gardens, 3345 S. Live Oak Drive, Moncks Corner, SC 29461. After the burial, there will be a lunch reception at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Fellowship Hall.
