Born on December 9, 1947 in Brooklyn, NY, Christine "Tina" Helen Healy, 77 of Hanahan, South Carolina, a devoted woman of faith and a light to everyone who knew her, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on October 30, 2025.
Tina’s life was a living reflection of God’s love, marked by compassion, hospitality, and unwavering faith. She was known for her heart for people and her gift for making everyone feel at home. Her door was always open—whether it was to share a meal, offer a listening ear, or even a place to live. She welcomed countless friends and family into her home and into her heart, showing the true meaning of hospitality.
A prayer warrior and faithful servant, Tina loved studying the Bible and counseling others with wisdom and grace. She had a special gift of mercy, always meeting people right where they were, offering understanding, hope, and encouragement. Her deep faith and gentle spirit inspired all who crossed her path. If Tina knew you, she prayed for you. Lives were changed because of her prayers.
More than anything, Tina’s life was centered around her love for her family as a wife, mother, and grandmother (Meme), and her love for Jesus. She poured her heart into both, creating a legacy of faith, kindness, and selfless love that will live on in everyone she touched. Those who knew her will remember her as the sweetest, most giving soul—a woman who truly embodied Christ’s love on earth.
Tina is preceded in death by her parents, William Joseph Seymour and Audrey Jeanne (Alden) Seymour, as well as her beloved sister Linda (Seymour) McCue.
Tina is survived by her husband of nearly 48 years, Bill Healy; her daughters Christie Rainwater (Mark), Elizabeth Schauerte (Jimmy), grandchildren Caleb LoVerde, Daniel Rainwater, Haley Rainwater, Zachary Rainwater, Haven Schauerte, and Malachi Schauerte; brothers Bill Seymour (Milissa), Ricky Seymour (Susan), Eddie Seymour (Joyce), and many loved nieces and nephews.
