Warren Daniel Chavis (Wee Woo), 20 years old, of Johns Island, South Carolina, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2022. Born on May 10, 2002, in Charleston, SC was the son of Helen Chavis (Campbell) and Christopher Chavis.
Warren was a great person, to know him was to love him. He loved his family and friends greatly and was a selfless person who would do anything to make you laugh or get a smile out of you. He really loved computers and gaming. He built his own computer and 3D printer. He was studying computer science emphasizing coding and programming. He played Dungeon and Dragons every Sunday with his family and friends. Warren was an absolute joy to everyone. He really loved animals and playing with the family dogs and other animals. He was one of a kind and extremely kindhearted. Warren was a jokester and enjoyed making everyone laugh and smile. He was a wealth of obscure knowledge and loved listening to random podcasts to learn new facts.
Warren is survived by his father, Christopher Chavis, his mother Helen Chavis, his sister, Heather Jimmo, his sister, Skyler Chavis, and his sister-in-law Ashe Jimmo. Warren is also survived by his grandparents, Carol and Frances Boyer, and James and Danielle Campbell, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Warren is survived by his best friend and honorary brother, Trevor Mills.
The family will receive family and friends during the Visitation and Memorial Gathering on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm at McAlister-Smith Funeral and Cremation on James Island. The James Island Chapel is located at 347 Folly Road, Charleston, SC 29412.
