William Evans "Billy" Robinson

William Evans “Billy” Robinson, 40, of Charleston, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2026.

Born on December 9, 1985, in Charleston, South Carolina, Billy was the son of Debra Evans Robinson and Guy B. Robinson.

He was a man who lived life in his own way and was never afraid to speak his mind. He enjoyed being outdoors, especially deer hunting, flounder gigging, and spending time on the water boating. Naturally talented with his hands, he could build, fix, or figure his way through just about anything. He had a personality all his own—sometimes stubborn, sometimes hardheaded, and always unapologetically himself. He wasn’t a perfect man, and those who knew him best will remember his humor, his stories, his strong opinions, and the adventures they shared along the way. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered, along with all the moments that made him who he was. And, knowing him, he probably left behind a few things he “fixed” that will need fixing again.

Billy is survived by his wife, Jessica Tumbleston; his parents; his sister, Bonnie McDonald (Dalton); his maternal grandmother, Ann Baur; along with many other family members and loved ones.

The family will announce arrangements for services at a later date.
